A well-established CG studio that leads the CG industry with overwhelming quality
Since founding in 1983, Polygon Pictures has always led the digital animation production industry in Japan with a mission to “do what no other has done, in unparalleled quality, for all the world to see and enjoy” becoming the largest digital animation studio in Japan with one of the best history and achievements in the world. Representative works include “GODZILLA Monster Planet”, “Knight of Sidonia”, “Star Wars Resistance”, “Transformers Robots In Disguise”, and “Lost in Oz”.
The translation group is responsible for communication support between overseas customers such as Hollywood, collaborating studios in Asia, and over 30 in-house foreign creators and Japanese staff.
It takes time to translate emails, delaying work that should be prioritized
Initially, the translation group had to do a relatively large amount of work for email translation, which delayed the translation of high priority content work and confidential documents.
Glossary and Phrase collection are used to speed up translation and comprehension
Introduction at headquarters and group companies in Malaysia, totaling about 400 employees, along with the company’s prepared glossary and phrase collection, helped our employees translate and understand simple exchanged emails.
At the same time, the translation group can now concentrate on interpretation/translation work with high priority (such as work requiring accuracy and speed, and content-related work). The number of places where automatic translation is used is expected to increase.
